Magnetic Pick-Up Sensors

G Instruments magnetic pick up sensors have very high sensitivity, very wide voltage operationg range and very low consumption. Their output is sinking open drain (npn) for up to 100 mA / 100 V with reverse polarity protection up to 100 mA. GMSxxx series magnetic sensors work with voltages down to 2.0V (recommended and specified at 2.3 V) and up to 40 V without changing their sensitivity or histeresys and have all the time a reverse polarity and surge protection. A machined sensor body from high quality plastic provides additonal protection and assures accurate mounting and high performance.

GMS300 and GMS400 sensors are designed to work with flow meters that have small magnets molded in their paddle-wheels or turbines. They can also be used for RPM measurement, precise positioning, counting objects and many other applications.

Low Power Magnetic Pick-Up Sensor for flow meters GMS400

GMS300 is the micro power version and it is the ideal snesor for battery power applications. When powered by GFC101 its micro power consumption makes possible for this flow computer to work reliably for years on a single AA size replaceable battery.
