Flow Computers / Totalizers for Liquids

These flow computers / totalizers measure volume flow rate and total of liquids. If the liquid can expand or shrink significantly in the operating temperature range then a temperature compensation of the volume is needed. Some of our flow computers / totalizers with temperature compensation work with gasoline and diesel or liquids that can be considered not shrinking in the operating temperature range. Our higher grade flow computers / totalizers work with any liquid and measure volume, compensated volume and mass. They also have preset lists of liquids and temperature transmitters for easier programming.


Battery Power Flow Computers

When DC or AC power is not available our battery powered flow computers / totalizers offer accurate and reliable operation for up to 10 years on a single AA size replaceable battery. They have 7 digit flow rate, three 7 digit totals, 10 points calibration curves, data logging, a variety of outputs that can accuratelly control different pumps, provide batch capabilities, connect to SCADA systems or other devices. They can also power micro power sensors and still work reliably for years. Each of them has a version with a C size battery that can provide more power to the sensor and last even longer.

Low Power Flow Computers

When DC or AC power is available our low power flow computers / totalizers can work with more types of flow meters, provide more power to the sensor, measure faster pulse signals up to 10 kHz and communicate with a master device on a network.

Flow Computers with Temperature Compensation

When the liquid can significantly expand or shrink in the operating temperature range the error of measuring the volume can significantly increase. In order to have more accurate volume measurement the flow computer / totalizer has to measure the temperature of the liquid and compensate for its exanding or shrinking. This is especially important with expensive or dangerous liquids and liquids that have a large coefficient of thermal expansion. The flow computers use our GTT101 temperature transmitters and are preset for working with them.
